Who we are

We’ve been sharing the waves in Playa Guanico long before surf schools showed up on the map. Behind our academy is Lorenzo — the first to teach surfing here and a true pioneer of the local surf scene. With over 15 years of experience, certified training, and a deep love for the ocean, he’s helped countless students build confidence in the water. Today, that passion continues under the name Guanico Surf Academy — still rooted in the same local knowledge, personal coaching, and love for real surfing.
